Decendents[boarne bewurkje]
Pier Gerlofs Donia, Grutte Pier, died in 1520. He left behind a son and a daughter. What happened to them? Is there a familyline from Grutte Pier in excistence as of today? Who are his decendents, any information on that? Dojama 20 nov 2009, 08.59 (CET)
- Actually, we don't know that he did. There's only one reference to a woman known as the daughter of Grutte Pier, without any confirmation, and the great-grand children of Gerlof Donia might be descendent from the nephew of Pier, rather than his son. So, as far as we know the children may well have died with their mother. I've searched the internet, actually. And I have contacted several genealogy websites, but there is simple no information on what happened to the children of Grutte Pier.
