The Netherlands wins a friendly soccer match with 2-1 against West Germany in the Rhein stadium in Düsseldorf in the snow. It's the first postwar international match against West Germany. With the Dutch players Coy Koopal (debutant), Jan Notermans (debutant), Abe Lenstra (0-1 and 0-2), Bram Appel, Frans de Munck (goalkeeper) en Cor van der Hart (1-2/an own goal), the German goalkeeper Fritz Herkenrath and the English referee Reginald Leafe. After the match the Dutch supporters storm the field and carry the players in triumph. Also footage of Düsseldorf and supporters taking the tram to the stadium.

Na afloop bestormen de Nederlandse supporters het veld en nemen ze de spelers op de schouders. Verder beelden van Düsseldorf en supporters die per tram naar het stadion gaan. |
