In English: "Skånsk" is not a minority language, but a dialect and the name is "skånska". Check discussion on the English language entry! --Vedum 5 okt 2008, 21.20 (CEST)[beäntwurdzje]

Sa't ik de Ingelske sjoch, wurdt it op it stuit oantsjut as taal mei de koade scy. At wy de ynlieding leauwe meie dan komt der in wiziging fan SIL/Ethnologue/ISO 639-3 dêr't Sweden fan ôftwongen hat dat it Skânsk der net ynstean mei. Grutte kolder, mar wy moatte mar efkes ôfwachtsje at it wier sa is as net. Dan komt der fansels út at in taal hieltiten noch in dialekt mei wapens is.
The way I read the English, it's currently seen as a language, with language code scy. If we accept what it says in the introduction, there will be a change in SIL/Ethnologue/ISO 639-3 where Sweden has enforced that Scanian is not allowed to be included. Humbug, but we'll have to wait and see whether that's really how it is. This is clearly a case where a source has to be indicatec, and at en: indication of sources has a high priority, yet while this has been there for one-and-a-half years, I still don't see a reference. I put the two most important arguments on Skâne; if we see new developments they can be added to the article. In time we'll see whether or not a language is still a dialect with weapons.
